Block Hash

Let’s look at the preview on the bottom right, we’ll notice that it is not displaying anything. This is because we haven’t yet implemented the useBlockHash hook in our React application.

To address this, we’ll call the useBlockHash hook to handle the fetch call in the editor on the top right.

import {useBlockInformation} from '@awesome-algorand/react-query'
export function BlockHashViewer(){
const data = {round: 1}
const query = {isLoading: true, isError: false, error: undefined, data: undefined}
if(query.isLoading) return <div>Loading...</div>
if(query.isError) return <div>Error: {query.error.message}</div>
return (
<div>
<h2>Round: {data.round}</h2>
<h2>Hash: {query.data.blockHash}</h2>
</div>
)
}
